Have you lost a loved one and have experienced prolonged sadness, or moments of overwhelming grief, feelings of hopelessness, or anxiety? Grieving is an emotional journey that only those who have experienced it can truly understand.
You need not travel the journey alone. Griefshare is a biblically-based grief recovery support group to help you return to life and enjoy all that God has in store for you.
Please join us for this 13 week class. Come every time, or only when you feel sad, but come, and let us walk the journey with you.
Register online at https://www.griefshare.org/groups/96152. If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Gregg van Kampen or Joan Bytheway.
Just Open the Door by Jen Schmidt
Meets Tuesday mornings from 9:45-11:45 AM, starting September 11th
Hospitality is one of the best ways to live out the two greatest commandments: loving God with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself. But often we get caught up in perfecting our homes and conversations before we open our doors.
This fall, we will look to Jesus as our model for hospitality. Discover how he lived a life full of interruptions, yet always welcomed people and invited them to follow Him. Replace cultural expectations with biblical hospitality to create a legacy of invitation. Learn to view welcome as a form of worship, and reflect Jesus through simple acts of service.
Sign up at the Information Desk in the Connection Cafe. The cost for the book is $13.
Childcare is provided during the Bible study.
Facilitating Team: Amy Foutz, Stephanie Samuelson, and Shelley Taylor
