Gregg van Kampen

Administrative Pastor

Gregg is well known to KBC as he and his wife, Lisa, have been with us as members for the last 15 years.  Prior to Gregg serving as Administrative Pastor, he has also served as Sunday School teacher for 10 years, has been the church Treasurer and member of the Finance Committee for 9 years, and has been consistently involved in visitation and counseling for that same period. 

 

Gregg is a graduate of the Moody Bible Institute (Chicago, IL) with a degree in Pastoral Theology and was instrumental in developing a mission outreach church in the Hinsdale suburb during that time, focused on ministering to the Hispanic community in that area.  He has served in a variety of other staff pastor assignments in the Humble/Atascosita area before joining Kingwood Bible Church.

 

Gregg and Lisa were married in 1989, have two sons, Daniel and Nicholas, and recently welcomed their new daughter-in-law, Jackie into the family when she and Daniel were married here at KBC!

Robin Zaruba

Worship Pastor

Robin Zaruba is from Orange, TX, and has been a full time worship pastor since 1995. He is an honor graduate of Berklee College of Music, where he received his bachelor's degree. Robin also completed the Biblical Counseling program offered by the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation. This comprehensive course of study includes courses in a biblical view of personal change and developing effective helping relationships and caring ministries within the local church. He is also the author of the book God Is... a 30 Day Devotional of Spiritual Metaphors and Sanctified Adverbs.


His mission at KBC and the Kingwood area is to lead others in the pursuit of God through worship and to help them discover that worship can be expressed in every part of life.


Robin is also active in songwriting and video production, using those to further the gospel. He has recorded 5 CDs. You can hear some of his work if you click on "robin's music" under Media.


Robin also enjoys reading, fishing, and spending time with his wife Danielle. Robin and Danielle have 3 children: Aleks, Casey, and Jacob.

Todd Cast

Youth Pastor

Todd Cast grew up in College Station where he attended A&M Consolidated High School. He later went on to attend Texas A&M University where he received a degree in Agriculture Leadership and Development. While at A&M Todd worked with Impact Camp, Texas A&M Women's basketball team, and Grace Bible Church as a volunteer youth leader. He volunteered at Grace for 4 years and served a 5th year as a youth intern. Also during college, Todd worked at Frontier Camp for 2 summers as a counselor and as Program Director. 


His passion is building excitement for the word and teaching students how to study the bible effectively. He also has a burning passion to create disciples for the kingdom (2 Timothy 2:2). Todd plans to further his education through seminary in the near future. He loves the outdoors and anything that involves a ball and a goal. 

Autumn Black

Children's Ministry Director

Autumn and husband, James Black, have been attending KBC since 2008, with their four children. Autumn is also a volunteer at Birthright of Humble. Since becoming a Christian at the age of 20, Autumn has developed a deep love of serving others.


"My desire is to serve in our children's ministry using my spiritual gift of administration, according to 1 Peter 4:10 'Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms.'"
